About

I’ve always been interested in art and design, and that’s where it all started. I studied Surface Design at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London, where I spent a lot of time working with colour, pattern and different materials. Over time I found myself drawn more towards jewellery, which started as a hobby and slowly turned into something I wanted to take more seriously.

I went on to take some jewellery making courses at Wensum Lodge in Norwich, where I learned the hands-on skills I still use today. Not long after it became my full-time job, making jewellery for another brand. Alongside that I started creating and selling my own work in 2022 under the name Flux and Flames. Since then I’ve also taken part in markets in and around Norfolk and Suffolk, which has been a really nice way to meet people and share my work in person.

I recently made the decision to rebrand from Flux and Flames, to Brogan Moore Jewellery. Over time I felt less and less connected to the name, and it no longer reflected my style or the direction my work was heading in. As my jewellery has evolved, it felt like the right time to bring everything back to a more personal place under my own name, Brogan Moore Jewellery.

I make everything by hand, either using the ancient lost wax casting method or by hand-forming in recycled sterling silver and recycled 9ct gold. Lost wax casting involves carving a design in wax, which is then cast in metal to create the final piece. It allows for more organic, detailed, and sculptural shapes that are difficult to achieve by hand alone. I work with both lab-grown and natural gemstones, depending on the piece. A lot of my inspiration comes from the natural world—its colours, patterns, and organic, sculptural forms. I’m especially drawn to texture, from soft, subtle finishes to more detailed, tactile surfaces.

Everything is made from my home studio in Norfolk, where I work alongside my rescued whippet Cherry, and my partner Tom. I'm just a one person team, but it means I’m involved in every step of the process. From the first idea through to the finished piece, which is really important to me.
